An online meeting was held between Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Engineering and Bangladesh University of Asia-Pacific Faculty of Engineering. The meeting held under the coordination of the International Relations Offices of both universities. The participants mainly evaluated international scientific cooperation opportunities in the field of engineering.

At the meeting attended by the Director of the Office of International Affairs and Faculty member of Engineering Dr. Nehreen Majed, Faculty Members of Engineering Prof. Dr. Alok Kumar Saha, Prof. Dr. Tanveer Ferdous Saeed, Dr. Tasnia Hossain, Dr. Md. Rajibul Islam Registrar Mr. Abdullah Al Masud from the University of Asia Pacific, the principal decision was taken to sign an MoU between the two universities and realize joint graduate and student exchange programs. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Gürbüz, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emre Burcu Özkaraova, Dr. Faculty Members Akın Özdemir, Gediz Uğuz, Serap Karagöl and Sinem Çevik attended the meeting on behalf of OMU Faculty of Engineering.

It is planned to hold a series of meetings on OMU Technopark projects to develop bilateral cooperation in the upcoming period.
