A meeting was held to enhance academic collaboration between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU).

Representatives from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) came together to expand their existing collaboration, which began with the Internationalization in Higher Education conference.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Fahrul Huyop and Mohd Firdaus Abdul-Wahab from UTM, Dr. Yılmaz KAYA, Faculty Member at the Faculty of Agriculture at OMU, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Said KURŞUNOĞLU Head of International Relations Office, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Aycan Vice Head of IRO, and Betül YILDIRIM, staff member. The meeting focused on ways to enhance collaboration in areas such as the Satellite Lab Project, student mobility, academic staff exchange, and joint research projects. Both universities emphasized the importance of conducting joint research on global issues and seizing internationalization opportunities.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to plan various projects and events to further advance their collaboration. This meeting was considered an important step in line with OMU's internationalization strategy.
