Conference info
Western societies are living through paradoxical times – the opportunities to maintain good health status have never been as good as they are today. Yet, people perceive their individual health poorer due to the shortcomings in addressing health and illness-related societal, emotional, psychological etc needs. This changed societal situation raises new expectations and challenges to health professionals. This involves the ways health professionals are educated and how this, in turn, influences the wider context of healthcare research, practice and policy.
