On May 22, 2021, Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Divinity lecturer Mehmet Akif Demir, who visited Afghanistan to conduct OMU-YOS, met with the Herat University Faculty of Divinity Dean Enayatullah Sediqyaar and faculty lecturers representing the rectorship of Herat University. During the meeting, information was given about theology education and opportunities in Turkey and at Ondokuz Mayıs University. After the meeting, Herat University Faculty of Divinity members presented their own copyrighted works of Tafsir and Hadith to the library of OMU.
