Invitation to the 20th International Students Summit

 

The 20th International Students Summit (ISS) will be held from September 6th ~13th 2020 and it will be hosted by IPB University a.k.a Bogor Agricultural University in Indonesia. This year’s theme is “Linking Actions, Research and Education in Agricultural Value Chains to Achieve Environmental, Social and Economic Sustainability”. One representative student from OMU is invited. 

Sustainable Agri-food Management in Indonesia (SAMI) will also be offered from September 14th ~ 20th 2020. SAMI is a summer course which is designed as 7 days sustainable agrifood management course with input from IPB University experts in collaboration with international universities and multinational food companies. Relevant issues in the field of sustainable agrifood management will be presented and discussed in the plenary presentations. Furthermore, it gives participants the opportunity to practice teamwork in a sustainable agrifood management context. Participation in SAMI is optional but strongly recommended for ISS representative students.

One advisor from OMU is also invited to ISS. An advisor is expected to give academic advice to your ISS representative student and to also facilitate discussions during parallel sessions.

Applications will be done to the International Collaboration Office.
